I grew up reading the author and remember this book well. This is said of course in the usual Seussian double speak. The reader is told to be strong and venture forth, not to worry about what others will say about them and instead make their own way in life. What makes Oh a special case even for this author is that it has some classic text. Part of the fun of reading his work was always trying to wrap your head around what was happening on the page and this outing does it better than most. This is classic Seuss and has the illustrational style that he was renowned for.

Instead you are invited to imagine the impossible. This does mean that there is no real direction to the book, but that was not really the point of reading books by the Dr. Oh is a simple story that basically takes a character on a road trip. The very best of Seuss was always able to inspire joy in a reader, whilst rarely making a lick of sense. One thing is for sure, this will not be a dull outing and if you are new to Dr Seuss, one you may never forget. You will sail high into the sky in a hot air balloon and walk through strange forests with trees that you have never seen. The book takes you on a trip into the imagination of an author who was never shy of the bizarre. Oh, The Places You'll Go is the classic Dr Seuss tale of one man's journey through a bizarre land.
